Modece’s project “the foundry” in Lawshall, Suffolk, has been featured in the book “Hemp Buildings - 50 International Case Studies” by author Steve Allin.
The project built in 2003, utilised an existing “timber frame of an old foundry building re-erected to be infilled with cast hempcrete, wall and floor insulation”.
