In collaboration with Fox Yard Art Studio here at our home in The Old Fox Yard, Stowmarket, we are launching 12 Kickstart Placements during 2021.
Kickstart is a Government scheme to create new job placements for under 24 year-olds on Universal Credit at this time of high youth employment.
We are part of a wider consortium led by the Museum of East Anglian Life and including the John Peel Centre for the Creative Arts, the National Horse Racing Museum, Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, Stevenage Museum, The Dacorum Heritage Trust Ltd, West Suffolk Council, Bawdsey Radar Trust and the Hitchin British Schools Trust.
Applications are now open for the the first 6 placements which will start on 12 April 2021. Placements include:
ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT
GRAPHIC DESIGN & SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT
EVENTS & WORKSHOP ASSISTANT COORDINATOR
MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
VISUAL MERCHANDISER & GALLERY ATTENDANT
We cant wait to work with and help develop some local young people and we are very excited to be doing this in collaboration with Fox Yard Art Studio. This is one of the first steps in our journey to create Stowmarket’s Design Quarter here at The Old Fox Yard.
