We are delighted to announce that our residential project, Cross Maltings Folly in Hadleigh, has been awarded the Noel Turner Award by the Hadleigh Society. This award recognises outstanding contributions to the improvement of Hadleigh’s built environment.
The project involves the transformation of a historic Victorian stable and folly within the Hadleigh Conservation Area. These original structures have been thoughtfully integrated with a contemporary, one and two-story cuboid dwelling, creating a harmonious and unique residence on the banks of the River Brett.
As highlighted in the Hadleigh Society’s June 2024 newsletter, the project is “considered to represent an interesting and imaginative architectural mix comprising the conversion of an old Victorian stable block, designed in part as a Folly, and its juxtaposition with a modernist 1 and 2 storey cuboid building to form a complete single residential unit hidden on the eastern bank of the River Brett near Tinkers Lane”.
We thank The Hadleigh Society for acknowledging and celebrating Cross Maltings Folly.
